About the role: The Senior Full Stack Engineer - Core UX will focus on refining existing product functionality to deliver an exceptional user experience. This involves ensuring consistency, maintaining a cohesive look and feel, and implementing performance improvements that directly impact end users. The role requires attention to layout, interactions, responsiveness, and visual polish to achieve a premium, well-crafted feel. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy iterative improvement, care about quality, and want to shape the user experience. The engineer will collaborate with a global team of full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers to build scalable backend solutions. This is a role in a small team where individual contributions have a significant impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with a track record of improving and polishing functionalities to bring premium user experience.
- Embody hustle and grit, excellent at craft and relentless in pursuing it.
- Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Experience in a modern FE framework, preferably React.
- Knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, or Python, or strong candidates from other OO backgrounds.
- Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2), asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments.
- Comfortable with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with LLMs/generative AI.
- Experience with distributed systems.
