Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with a track record of improving and polishing functionalities to bring premium user experience.
• Embody hustle and grit, excellent at craft and relentless in pursuing it.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Experience in a modern FE framework, preferably React.
• Experience with Javascript, Typescript, or Python, or strong candidates from other OO backgrounds.
• Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2), asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments.
• Comfortable with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LLMs/generative AI.
• Experience with distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Refining existing product functionality to deliver an exceptional user experience.
• Ensuring consistency across the product.
• Maintaining a cohesive look and feel.
• Implementing performance improvements that directly impact end users.
• Paying close attention to layout, interactions, responsiveness, and visual polish.
• Collaborating with a global team of full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers to build scalable backend solutions.
• Taking full ownership of work and driving projects to completion with minimal oversight.
• Communicating proactively, surfacing blockers, asking the right questions, and keeping stakeholders in the loop.
• Experimenting with ideas, measuring results, and iterating quickly on problems.
