Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with a track record of improving and polishing functionalities to bring premium user experience.
- Embody hustle and grit, excellent at craft and relentless in pursuing it.
- Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Experience in a modern FE framework, preferably React.
- Knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, or Python, or strong candidates from other OO backgrounds.
- Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2), asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments.
- Comfortable with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with LLMs/generative AI.
- Experience with distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Refining existing product functionality to deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Ensuring consistency across the product.
- Maintaining a cohesive look and feel.
- Implementing performance improvements that directly impact end users.
- Paying close attention to layout, interactions, responsiveness, and visual polish.
- Collaborating with a global team of full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers to build scalable solutions.
- Taking full ownership of work and driving projects to completion with minimal oversight.
- Communicating proactively, surfacing blockers, asking the right questions, and keeping stakeholders in the loop.
- Testing ideas, measuring results, and iterating quickly on problems.
