Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Coefficient, a VC-backed SaaS startup based in the SF Bay Area. As a remote-first company, we prioritize hiring the best talent regardless of location. Our mission is to unleash the power and flexibility of spreadsheets across all company systems. With our no-code solution, business teams can access and work with their company data in real-time directly from their spreadsheets, without IT involvement. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in designing and building complex web applications, strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills, and a deep understanding of user experience and web design.

• Define product and design core frontend architecture
• Develop versatile, user-centered web applications from the ground up
• Design and build complex web applications
• Use TypeScript/JavaScript extensively
• Build interactive UIs using React or similar frameworks
• Have an excellent sense of web design and user experience
• Follow software development best practices and care about code quality
• Create clean abstractions and interfaces
• Implement processes (automated and otherwise) to enable quick shipping without breaking things

• 7+ years of experience designing and building complex web applications
• Extensive TypeScript/JavaScript experience
• Extensive experience building interactive UIs using React or similar frameworks
• Excellent sense of web design and understanding of user experience fundamentals
• Thoughtful about software development best practices and code quality
• Familiarity with clean abstractions and interfaces
• Knowledge of processes (automated and otherwise) that enable efficient engineering team workflow
• Ability to work collaboratively with founders and contribute to product definition and design
