Sr. Full Stack Developer (React/Node)
About The Position
INSPYR Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer for a large-scale federal technology program supporting mission-critical enterprise applications. This hands-on role designs, develops, and deploys modern web applications using Node.js, React.js, and cloud-native DevOps practices. The developer will help architect and build next-generation web solutions, mentor team members, and drive software quality throughout the application lifecycle. The position is based in Woodlawn, Maryland and is 100% onsite, five days per week. The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance. The posting describes the employment type as full-time/contract.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, Express.js, RESTful API development, HTML5/CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Strong understanding of Single Page Application architecture, microservices architecture, UI component frameworks, secure software development practices, and backend design patterns.
- Database expertise in PostgreSQL, complex SQL query development, query tuning and optimization, and data modeling.
- Experience with Agile approaches and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, TDD, and BDD.
- Experience working within large, enterprise-scale development teams.
- Experience resolving merge conflicts and managing upstream/downstream dependencies.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ownership and accountability for software design, development, testing, and delivery.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and implement modern web applications using industry best practices.
- Develop modular Single Page Applications (SPAs) using React.js and related technologies.
- Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across front-end, middleware, business logic, and database layers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demonstrations.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries and database performance.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers on Node.js and React.js technologies.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support CI/CD and DevOps initiatives using modern deployment pipelines.
