About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer and individual contributor to build, deploy, and scale secure, mission-critical applications across AWS Commercial and GovCloud (IL2-IL5) environments. The role develops end-to-end features in pure Docker and Kubernetes environments, balancing high-throughput backend services with modern, reactive web interfaces.

The developer will work in an AI-native paved-road development environment emphasizing modular, API-first contracts and container-native workflows to support close collaboration between human developers and autonomous AI coding agents.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Must currently hold an active U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance, or have a proven track record of obtaining and holding a DoD security clearance.
• Production experience with Go backends and Next.js or Vite/React frontends.
• Deep hands-on experience building, debugging, and maintaining applications running natively in pure Docker and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated engagement with or active use of AI-native development tools and agentic engineering workflows.
• Proficiency in Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python.
• Deep proficiency in modern React, Next.js App Router, SSR/SSG, Vite, component state management, and Tailwind CSS or Shadcn.
• Experience with Docker workflows, including multi-stage builds, minimal base images, and rootless execution, and Kubernetes deployments, stateful sets, services, ingress, and Helm.
• Hands-on experience developing against AWS Commercial and GovCloud and collaborating through modern CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, including OWASP Top 10, OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, PKI/CAC, and Zero-Trust network models.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-ready applications with performant backend microservices and responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Develop services primarily in Go, build frontend interfaces with Next.js and Vite/React, and use Python for secondary services and automation.
• Package, deploy, and operate services in Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS, including declarative manifests, Helm charts, and health probes.
• Design and consume REST, gRPC, and OpenAPI interface contracts for clean service boundaries and compatibility across distributed systems.
• Apply Zero-Trust security principles in application code, including mTLS, Keycloak authentication, token-based authorization, and Vault secrets management.
• Use AI coding assistants, prompt-driven generation, and autonomous agent workflows to accelerate delivery, generate unit tests, and maintain clean architectural patterns.
