About The Position

IPT Associates (IPTA) is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and develop practical technology solutions. The role focuses on building scalable, maintainable, reliable solutions using nonproprietary, open-standard code; maintaining secure, high-quality software in a government-owned Git repository; and helping modernize development practices. The developer will participate in peer reviews, address technical debt as prioritized by the government, and explore and mentor others in emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Experience with Angular and Spring Boot.
• Experience testing with Jest and JUnit.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Eight years of prior experience in a similar role.
• DoD 8570 Level II/III certification.
• Active security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions that are scalable, maintainable, reliable, and based on nonproprietary, open-standard code.
• Create and maintain a Detailed Software Development Modernization Plan (SDMP) covering branching strategy, code review processes, and CI/CD integration.
• Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and secure source code in the government-owned Git-based repository.
• Participate in mandatory peer code reviews.
• Ensure developed code passes automated quality and security scans, such as SAST, and remediate new Blocker, Critical, or High findings before task completion.
• Identify, report, analyze, and execute remediation of technical debt as prioritized and assigned by the government.
• Research and prototype emerging technologies, including AI/ML, low-code/no-code platforms, automation, and AI-assisted coding tools.
• Mentor team members in the use of emerging technologies.
