About The Position

Optiveum is recruiting and contracting a Senior Frontend Developer to join a global team working on OpenGDDS, a digital product that supports nonclinical research through semantic search and automated document creation. The agentic system is built on Databricks and custom AWS infrastructure, with a Vue.js frontend. The developer will own the design, development, and evolution of the user interface, collaborating with UX/UI, backend, data, AI, infrastructure, and product colleagues in an international, cross-functional setup. The cooperation agreement will be signed directly with Optiveum.

The role is fully remote and full-time at 40 hours per week, based in Poland and connected to a Warsaw-based team. The start date is to be agreed. The stated rate is up to 130 PLN per hour net on a B2B basis. Recruitment is conducted in English.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in frontend software development.
• Hands-on experience with Vue 3, TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite, Inertia.js, Vitest/Playwright, and Figma.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Vue.js, or a similar single-page application framework such as React or Angular.
• Experience with user interaction work, including running workshops, fast prototyping, and working with Figma MCP.
• Experience in a regulated industry and with complex data; early-stage pharmaceutical research is ideal, while finance or banking experience may be transferable.
• Broad understanding of software development, including system architecture and coding for scale.
• Ability to explain technical possibilities and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Practical interest in experimentation and building MVPs.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership, openness to feedback, and reliability in meeting deadlines.
• BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to provide a criminal record certificate.

• Scientific background or experience working with scientific users.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve scalable frontend applications using TypeScript and Vue.js.
• Translate UX/UI designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, and maintainable user experiences.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and communicate what can be built, scaled, and maintained.
• Integrate the frontend with backend services, APIs, and search capabilities across the platform.
• Build MVPs and experiment with new approaches while maintaining a focus on quality and long-term maintainability.
• Support engineering quality through unit and end-to-end testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across locations and disciplines to deliver effective solutions for researchers and scientific stakeholders.
