About The Position

CultureSuite is seeking a Junior Frontend Developer to contribute to a mature, well-established platform. Working with an experienced product team, the developer will help deliver new and existing features, build polished and accessible user experiences, and grow their understanding of the wider product and its architecture. The role involves translating designs and wireframes into usable interfaces, maintaining and modernising existing components, and gradually contributing to reusable front-end patterns using Twig components, Stimulus, Vue, SCSS architecture, and design-system thinking. This is not a framework-specific React or Vue role. The work includes server-rendered interfaces, progressive enhancement, accessibility, CSS architecture, and careful modernisation of an established product. The current technology stack includes HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Symfony UX/Twig Components, Stimulus, Vue, Storybook, Vitest, Playwright, Backstop, APIs, Docker-based local development, PHP, and MySQL. The position is remote, with an office in Rotterdam, and candidates are sought in Argentina. The team is based in the UK and the Netherlands. Working hours are flexible, with availability during overlapping UK/NL time zones. A willingness to travel for face-to-face interactions is highly desirable. Employment is through Deel’s Employer of Record arrangement and is not a contractor agreement. The stated salary is USD 1,200–1,400 per month.

  • Interest in trade-offs between server-rendered and decoupled front-end approaches.
  • English at B2 level or above, with confidence communicating in an international remote team, explaining work and ideas, and receiving feedback constructively.
  • A reliable, stable internet connection and a home or co-working office setup.
  • Legal authorisation to work in Argentina without requiring CultureSuite sponsorship for an immigration-related employment benefit.
