About The Position

Wipro is seeking a Senior Front-End Web Developer to build and enhance live-streaming experiences. The role involves developing high-performance, responsive web interfaces with React and TypeScript and working with real-time data and video technologies, including HLS, WebRTC, and Media Source Extensions (MSE). The position also contributes to gathering client requirements, delivering and integrating assigned software modules, testing and participating in user acceptance testing, implementation, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The stated experience range is 3–5 years, with 4+ years of professional React experience specified in the front-end requirements. The expected compensation ranges from $45,000 to $110,000. Final compensation depends on factors including geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental benefit options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options. Requirements

3–5 years of experience, as stated for the role.
At least 4 years of professional React development experience.
Strong experience with TypeScript.
Experience with state management such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
Strong knowledge of responsive UI development using CSS-in-JS, Styled Components, Emotion, Tailwind CSS, or similar technologies.
Experience with reusable components, custom React hooks, and component-driven development.
Frontend testing experience using Jest and React Testing Library.
Mandatory skill: Enterprise Platform Engineering FrontEnd.

Nice To Haves

Experience building streaming analytics or dashboards tracking video QoS metrics such as startup time and bitrate.
Knowledge of cloud-based video ingestion or transcoding platforms such as AWS Elemental, Mux, or Livepeer.
Strong UI/UX sense and experience with animation libraries such as Framer Motion.
Experience with live-video streaming technologies such as HLS, MPEG-DASH, or WebRTC.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React and TypeScript.
Develop responsive, pixel-perfect UI components for live-streaming platforms.
Implement and optimize video players using Video.js, Hls.js, Shaka Player, or similar technologies.
Build real-time features such as live chat, reactions, and polling using WebSockets or SSE.
Develop broadcaster interfaces using browser media APIs for webcam, microphone, and screen sharing.
Optimize application performance, bundle size, state management, and DOM rendering.
Support reliable video playback across browsers and devices.
Assist in conducting workshops and discussions with client stakeholders to gather business process requirements.
Develop and deliver code for assigned modules in alignment with client requirements, ensuring proper integration with system components.
Execute testing for assigned modules, validate functionality across required interactions, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.
Participate in implementation of software applications and their integration with other systems to ensure stability.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation on project specifications, activities, and status, using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear, well-structured code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, support development activities, check system compatibility, and ensure solutions meet expected standards.
