About The Position

Bridgestone is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst of Merchandising to provide strategic decision support and serve as a business partner for Bridgestone Retail Operations. The role contributes to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis, and reports to the Senior Manager of Merchandising Finance. It is a hybrid position based at Bridgestone headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee, with in-office work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 3 years of related work experience; the posting states “Minimum of five 3+ years.”
• Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience with financial analysis, advanced modeling, financial consolidation, and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with large amounts of data from various sources.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under tight timelines.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with peers and business leaders to gain support for strategies and initiatives.

Nice To Haves

• MBA.
• Experience creating Power BI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Ensure financial results are reported accurately and on time in compliance with IFRS.
• Interpret and analyze income statements and balance sheets.
• Develop complex financial models.
• Drive strategy and finance discussions within the business.
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines efficiently.
• Support or lead visible ad hoc special projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
