About The Position

Bridgestone is seeking a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join its team in Nashville, Tennessee. The role performs corporate financial planning and analysis focused on short- and long-term financial planning and analysis of business operations, measuring and forecasting future business performance. It partners with the FP&A team and internal customers to support reporting, budgeting, planning, closing, and decision-making. The position is hybrid, with work in the Bridgestone headquarters office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Five years of progressive Finance experience in a performance- and results-oriented culture.
Demonstrated focus on continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify finance and operational processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
Ability to work well on a team and manage work individually.
Self-starter with intellectual curiosity.

Responsibilities

Partner with the FP&A team to provide financial reporting and analysis.
Maintain strong interactive relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively.
Support budgeting and financial planning to align business strategy with investments that fund activities driving the business.
Lead the monthly closing process for functional areas of responsibility.
Produce in-depth analyses for management review, with recommendations and insights to inform business decisions.
Ensure supported groups follow processes and procedures.
