About The Position

Provides complex financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting, and evaluates potential business opportunities. The role focuses on clinical service line analysis and reporting and strategic financial planning. The analyst partners with hospital and operational leaders to interpret labor-to-volume metrics, monitor financial performance, identify drivers of results, and communicate complex data as actionable insights and recommendations. The role also serves as a liaison between corporate finance and hospital leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience.
• Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and communication skills.

• Master's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience.
• CPA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data, including clinical service line reporting, trend analysis, pro formas, forecasts, and monitoring of key financial metrics.
• Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis for assigned areas and explain material variances.
• Support development and analysis of operating and capital budgets.
• Research and analyze external business intelligence.
• Maintain and support decision-support databases, including updating cost allocations.
• Build relationships and collaborate with hospital and operational leaders to support informed decision-making and operational and financial performance.
