The analyst will lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, deliver executive-level financial reporting, and partner with Sales, Marketing, HR, and Accounting to inform business decisions. The role offers ownership of financial processes and the opportunity to help develop a finance function that uses AI.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and ARR-based revenue models, with working knowledge of ASC 606.
  • Experience presenting directly to C-level executives.
  • Daily, hands-on use of AI tools in finance, with examples of practical applications.
  • Ability to operate independently with high ownership, navigate ambiguity, and communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Board or investor exposure.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and financial planning tools such as Adaptive, Pigment, Mosaic, Cube, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Exposure to debt financing, fundraising, or M&A processes.
  • Experience working with international entities, including multi-currency and intercompany transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual budget, monthly rolling forecasts, and quarterly reforecasts.
  • Analyze budget variances and partner with department heads on financial planning.
  • Prepare management reports, board presentations, and investor materials.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations directly to the executive team.
  • Track SaaS metrics including ARR, NRR/GRR, churn, CAC, LTV, and burn multiple.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, capacity planning, commissions, and marketing ROI.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close, revenue recognition under ASC 606, audits, and tax-related analysis.
  • Use AI tools to improve financial modeling and reporting, automate recurring processes, and reduce manual work across the finance function.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Generous parental leave.
