About The Position
The Senior Financial Analyst works in the General Accounting department under the Hospital CFO. The role completes and analyzes financial and statistical reporting in support of senior management’s goals and objectives. It ensures timely and accurate financial information, financial reporting, financial projections, and related activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Accounting or Finance.
- Six to ten years of accounting or finance experience.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare financial statements and financial projections.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in business software applications, including EPIC, Lawson, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
- Working knowledge of Windows-based personal computers.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Business or a finance-related field.
- Hospital or healthcare accounting or finance experience.
- Public accounting experience and strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
