About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst for Bloomin’ Brands’ finance team is a key role that supports product strategy, menu innovation, and pricing decisions across the brand. This individual will partner with Marketing, Culinary, Operations, and Finance to evaluate the financial impact of new product launches, menu changes, limited-time offers, and test-and-learn initiatives. Key responsibilities include building financial models for product pricing, margin, and profitability; supporting menu engineering and product mix analysis; developing business cases for scalable product opportunities; and providing insights that help optimize guest value, brand growth, and financial performance. This role is based in our Tampa, FL Restaurant support Center and is approved for a hybrid work schedule (blend of onsite and remote work).

Requirements

Independent and self-motivated with a proven ability to work with minimal supervision while managing multiple product, pricing, and test-related priorities.
3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, revenue management, product finance, or related analytical roles, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry.
Strong modeling and analytical skills with a focus on pricing, gross margin, food cost, product mix, and cost structures.
Familiarity with product innovation, menu strategy, test-and-learn environments, go-to-market finance, or revenue growth management.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment with competing product launch, menu update, and analysis timelines.
Collaborative approach and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence Marketing, Culinary, Operations, Finance, and senior leadership partners.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; curiosity about customer behavior, product trends, and how financial outcomes connect to brand growth.

Responsibilities

Partner with Marketing, Culinary, Operations, and Finance to evaluate the financial impact of new product launches, menu changes, limited-time offers, and product tests.
Build and manage financial models for product pricing, gross margin, food cost, profitability, and category-level contribution.
Support menu engineering and product mix analysis to identify opportunities that drive sales, optimize guest value, and improve financial outcomes.
Analyze product test results, synthesize key learnings, and develop business cases to scale successful products systemwide.
Monitor product lifecycle performance and recommend adjustments based on guest trends, mix shifts, pricing architecture, margin contribution, and financial outcomes.
Track food cost targets, menu pricing guardrails, and margin contribution by item, category, daypart, and channel.
Prepare presentation-ready materials that translate product performance, test results, pricing recommendations, and financial implications into clear insights for cross-functional and senior leadership audiences.
Leverage technology, reporting tools, and data visualization to improve access to product, pricing, mix, and profitability insights that guide decision making.
Collaborate effectively across functions to influence product decisions, communicate financial tradeoffs, and ensure recommendations balance guest appeal, operational feasibility, and profitability.
Support go-to-market financial planning for product innovation, including pricing recommendations, sales and mix assumptions, cost implications, and expected returns.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and other job-related duties as assigned.
