Sr. Financial Analyst - Corporate FP&A
About The Position
Vertiv is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Corporate FP&A team at its Columbus, Ohio headquarters. This highly visible role partners closely with senior finance leadership to support forecasting, strategic planning, executive reporting, and enterprise-wide business initiatives. It provides visibility across Vertiv’s global finance organization and opportunities to develop executive communication, business partnering, strategic planning, and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, takes initiative, enjoys solving complex business problems, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- 2–8 years of experience in finance, consulting, accounting, analytics, or a related business discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided.
Nice To Haves
- MBA or CPA.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or another ERP system.
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management or Oracle EPM.
- Experience with automation or visualization tools.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the CFO, senior financial leaders, and cross-functional executives to develop insights and recommendations that influence decision-making.
- Support development of executive-level presentations and business reviews for the CFO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board-related discussions.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support accurate forecasting and target-setting processes.
- Partner with finance and business leaders on strategic initiatives, performance improvement opportunities, and enterprise-wide transformation efforts.
- Identify opportunities to leverage analytics, automation, AI, and visualization tools to improve business insights and decision-making.
- Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting, and other tasks as requested to support management decisions.
