About The Position

The Sr. Financial Analyst FP&A serves as a key financial stakeholder and manager of Operating Expenses, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and alignment with strategic initiatives. The role partners with the SVP, Operations, Sr. Director FP&A, and regional leadership teams to develop and execute strategies that drive sales growth, operational efficiency, and profit margin expansion. It delivers actionable insights to support informed decisions by the SVP, Operations and regional leadership team.

The position leads the Operating Expenses month-end close, develops and maintains KPIs and dashboards to drive accountability and measure performance against company goals, and analyzes financial and operational trends to identify margin improvement and cost optimization opportunities. It also leads annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, using reasonable assumptions and incorporating a balanced set of risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of progressive, relevant Finance experience.
• Strong executive presence, business acumen, strategic thinking, and presentation skills.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to deliver complex financial insights to financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Advanced technical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, and the ability to navigate large, complex datasets.
• Hands-on, results-oriented approach and comfort navigating complexity, driving change, and meeting deadlines with urgency and sound judgment.
• Proven ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships and experience operating in a large organization.

Nice To Haves

• Finance experience from consulting, investment banking, or a fast-paced operating company is ideal.
• Experience with a multi-location business in a public or private equity-backed environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the SVP, Operations, Sr. Director FP&A, and regional leadership teams to develop and execute strategies that drive sales growth, operational efficiency, and profit margin expansion.
• Deliver actionable insights to the SVP, Operations and regional leadership team to support informed decisions.
• Lead the month-end close process for Operating Expenses.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards, such as price/volume, warehouse productivity, and customer profitability, to drive accountability and measure performance against company goals.
• Analyze financial and operational trends to identify margin improvement and cost optimization opportunities.
• Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, supported by reasonable assumptions and a balanced set of risks and opportunities.
