About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for all US cash management activities, systems and practices, ensuring daily liquidity for US affiliates with best-in-class processes. The role performs payments, funds transfer and short-term forecasting and directs investment of the company’s US surplus cash in appropriate fixed income instruments. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the execution of the enterprise’s $20B US Commercial Paper program, regularly working with external banks / capital markets business partners to ensure the availability of cash to US affiliates and maintenance of the In-House Bank. This position works closely with the other 3 RTSCs (Sao Paolo, Beerse, Singapore) to identify operational improvements and benchmark to enhance partnership with US affiliates.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics or Finance
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Treasury or banking is required (e.g., cash management, liquidity, forecasting, bank platforms, ERP, treasury works stations/tms, bank relationship management, or treasury operations).
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions)
  • This position requires a highly motivated organized individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, proactive thinking and proven leadership skills
  • The ability to work independently, and handle several tasks simultaneously is required
  • The ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization is required.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills is required

Nice To Haves

  • A CPA, CMA, CTP or MBA degree is preferred
  • Experience with SAP is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own daily US cash positioning and liquidity management, including analysis of opening balances, intraday activity, funding decisions, and settlement oversight across core banking partners.
  • Execute and optimize Commercial Paper (CP) issuance, determining optimal timing, tenors, and pricing through market analysis, dealer engagement, and benchmark comparison.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance short‑term cash forecasts, integrating inputs from multiple data sources, historical trends, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Manage short‑term investments, balancing liquidity, return optimization, and policy compliance
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of treasury transactions, including funding transfers, investments, redemptions, intercompany loans, with appropriate controls and audit documentation.
  • Act as a trusted Treasury business partner to internal stakeholders, supporting funding needs for operations, tax, M&A, dividends, acquisitions, and other large or non‑routine cash flows.
  • Provide treasury insights, reporting, and variance analysis, explaining key drivers of cash movements, risks, and opportunities to senior management and business partners.
  • Manage US bank account structures, including the opening and closing of accounts and integration of newly acquired entities.
  • Support internal and external audit requests in organized and timely matter
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for US Treasury‑related inquiries, resolving cash related matters in coordination with internal stakeholders and banking partners.
  • Promote continuous improvement of treasury processes and controls, collaborating with global treasury teams, finance partners, and external banks.
  • Support other company‑wide and Treasury Services initiatives, including systems implementations, process improvements, acquisitions integration, and other strategic projects
