About The Position

Hunter Industries is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial leadership of multiple business units within Hunter Industries, acting as a trusted strategic partner to business unit leaders and external partners alike. This role owns the full financial story of the business unit — building the models, dashboards, and analysis that turn raw data into decisions, and presenting results with the clarity and confidence of someone who truly knows the numbers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive finance/FP&A experience, ideally including exposure to manufacturing, consumer products, or a similarly complex operating environment.
  • Proficient with technical planning and BI tools, including Oracle Fusion EPM, Power BI and IBM Planning Analytics.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; comfortable presenting financial results to leadership and external partners.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful in sourcing, structuring, and reporting financial analytics.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, self-initiate activities, and organize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Skilled at setting goals and objectives and driving timelines to achieve them.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing organizational needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the go-to financial partner (“the CFO”) for your designated business unit — owning its financials top to bottom and being the trusted source for all related inquiries.
  • Builds and maintains BI dashboards and automated reporting using tools such as Oracle Fusion EPM, Microsoft Power BI, and IBM Planning Analytics to deliver timely, accurate financial performance insights.
  • Presents quarterly (and as-needed) financial performance to business partners, leadership, and cross-functional groups, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Builds and maintains complex financial models to analyze pricing, margins, valuation, new product development, and sensitivity/scenario analytics.
  • Reviews cost and manufacturing analytics; understand how material costs and manufacturing plans flow through to financial results.
  • Identifies opportunities for financial and operational improvement and lead cross-department initiatives to drive change.
  • Partners closely with Sales, Operations, Accounting, HR, and IS to align financial planning with operational realities.
  • Builds business acumen through ongoing dialogue with internal and external partners, and develop relationships grounded in mutual information sharing.
  • Supports annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning cycles for assigned business units.
