About The Position

The Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS) business area within Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager (M5) to join our team. The role will lead the international and strategy portfolios for CUAS, providing leadership, development, and direction to the various programs and strategic pursuits. The role will lead all facets of finance for the portfolios: including Program Controls, Earned Value management, Customer and Gate reviews, Proposals, Estimates at Complete (EACs), Annual Operating Plan, Long Range Strategic Plan, Investments, Overhead, and Risk and Opportunity. The candidate will have a high level of business acumen and will work across functions and levels of the organization, including Senior CUAS Leadership, and provide leadership, development, and direction to a growing team of finance managers and professionals. A successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate results through predictable forecasts, Risk and Opportunity (R&O) management, EAC process, robust Program Reviews, and timely flow of information to the organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a key and trusted business partner to the CUAS organization and provide key business decision support. This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity (onsite & remote) with the preferred candidate located within a commutable distance to Andover, MA. Other locations that would be allowable are: McKinney, TX & Tucson, AZ. Relocation assistance is not being provided.

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related field & a minimum 12 years prior relevant experience; OR an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
P&L Ownership or Financial Planning experience, and direct supervisory experience guiding teams
Experience with automating data using MS office products (Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint)
Experience in and comfortability with interfacing and conducting business with Senior Management and/or VP level personnel

Candidate must be US based and willing to support Eastern Time (ET), Central Time (CT) or Arizona Time (MT) as key team members are located across those time zones
Excellence organizational, prioritization, and communication skills (verbal & written)
Experience with competitive proposals & knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process
Good organizational skills in leading/coordinating personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines; ability to multi-task
Security Clearance – Secret preferred

Responsibilities

Leverage experience in program control finance, accounting, and FP&A to meet all internal and external reporting requirements such as preparing EACs, monthly forecasts, Earned Value, and provide financial direction to the team
Consolidating financial projection inputs; providing analysis, documenting changes to the actuals & forecast, and reviewing with key team members
Partnering with various levels of organization, as well as across functions to include enterprise organizations which support the integration of financial impacts
Working in a highly changing environment including supporting, leading, and discussing presentations to management on a regular basis
The right candidate will be comfortable being a team player and have the personality and skills to think creatively about how to best present and analyze data to encourage strategic decision making for long term growth
Expect high visibility including substantial interaction with senior finance managers, directors, and leadership teams
You need the ability to effectively communicate at multiple layers within and outside the organization (written/verbal)
