About The Position

ESE Consultants, Inc, the in-house engineering, survey, and land planning division of Toll Brothers, is seeking a Senior Field Land Surveyor/Party Chief for its operations in the Rockville, Maryland area. This role involves performing field work in various surveying disciplines using advanced technologies such as GPS and Robotic instruments. The position supports projects managed by the Ashburn, VA and Columbia, MD offices and offers an opportunity to join a respected Fortune 500 company with a strong commitment to quality and employee well-being.

Requirements

20+ years of related experience
High School Education or Equivalent
Clean driving record
Ability to stay up to date with the ever-changing survey technology
Comfortable working alone in isolated and remote areas
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Can excel in a physical and technically demanding position
Basic understanding of engineering drawings
Basic understanding of Survey specific codes and Regulations
Basic understanding of heavy construction (high rise, commercial construction)

Nice To Haves

AutoCAD experience a plus
Additional Survey specific classes a plus

Responsibilities

Perform Field work in various disciplines of Surveying using GPS, Robotic and other technologies.
Residential Building stakeout
Residential asbuilts (wall checks/ Location Surveys)
Topographic surveys
Residential Infrastructure stakeout (water, sewer, storm C&G)
Site asbuilts
Basic computations/cutsheets
Boundary Surveys
ALTA Surveys
Heavy construction stakeout
Mentor and train field surveyors
