About The Position

Ragle Incorporated, a company with a strong history in highway and bridge construction since 1993, is expanding its Texas Heavy Highway Division. We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Field Survey Tech who is interested in working for a growing company with excellent advancement opportunities. Requirements

1-3 years of experience in Survey Tech
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of field survey methods and calculations
Strong understanding of TXDOT plans and specifications
Able to work independently and efficiently
Knowledge of Construction Practices
Knowledge of Industrial Practices is a plus
Knowledge of GPS, Robotic, and Machine Control Equipment
Knowledge of CAD based computer software
Driver's License (Required)
Ability to Relocate to Midland, TX 79705 before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

CAD: 1 year (Preferred)
Land surveying: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Layout of curbs, road centerlines, slope stakes, sewer locations, waterline, and misc.
Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment
Verifies the accuracy of field survey data
Proficient in reading plans
Able to perform Topographic and Asbuilt Surveys
Generate surface models for construction equipment
