About The Position

The Senior Field Engineer position will begin their assignment at a Project based in the Caribbean and will assist with managing the design and construction of marine port facilities and marine adjacent structures, including but not limited to site survey, engineering submittals, quantity tracking and development of means and methods of construction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to site safety requirements, construction schedule updates, contract and budget management, construction and engineering work plan development and ensuring that work completed on site meets the quality control requirements of the contract.

Requirements

B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
0-5 years experience in marine foundations and structures installation
Proficient with AutoCAD
Proficient with MS Office
Current driver's license and passport

Nice To Haves

Experience with Primavera P6, Procore and JD Edwards

Responsibilities

Assist with managing the design and construction of marine port facilities and marine adjacent structures.
Manage site survey, engineering submittals, quantity tracking and development of means and methods of construction.
Ensure site safety requirements are met.
Provide construction schedule updates.
Manage contracts and budgets.
Develop construction and engineering work plans.
Ensure work completed on site meets quality control requirements.
Learn construction practices as required for compliance with specified building codes, industry standards, company procedures, and contractual requirements.
Assist the Project Manager with required documents and information to support the successful completion of construction activities.
Serve as a resource to field supervision for project specifications, procedures, and relevant portions of the contract.
Attend construction project meetings and safety meetings as assigned.
