Senior Federal Project Manager
About The Position
This first-level project management position is for a fully competent project management professional with a broad understanding of solutions and industry best practices. The role provides creative, high-quality solution leadership to ensure project quality and timely delivery within budget and to the customer’s satisfaction. The Project Manager guides moderately complex activities involved in implementing integrated business solutions, analyzes business needs, applies Oracle methodologies and product knowledge, and manages the scope of small projects and sub-projects. The role also supports project teams, customer relationships, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Guide moderately complex activities involved in implementing an integrated business solution, using independent judgment to ensure project quality, timely delivery, and adherence to budget and customer expectations.
- Analyze business needs and help ensure Oracle’s solution meets customer objectives by combining industry best practices with product knowledge.
- Apply Oracle’s methodologies, policies, and procedures while adhering to contractual obligations to minimize Oracle’s risk and exposure.
- Assist the project team with aspects of their roles as a project lead.
- Influence decisions at the management level of customer organizations.
- Ensure deliverables are acceptable and work closely with customers to understand and manage project expectations.
- Support business development by pursuing new opportunities and extensions.
- Collaborate with the consulting sales team by providing domain credibility.
- Manage the scope of small projects and sub-projects.
