About The Position

GRADIENT is a NYC-based Experiential Marketing Agency seeking a Senior Experiential Producer. We are a boutique, creatively led, high-end agency specializing in the spirits, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and luxury industries. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment that values productivity and efficiency balanced with utmost quality. This role is central to overseeing agency projects, with a strong emphasis on client and project management. The Senior Producer will drive the project and process, managing teams of production freelance and full-time producers and coordinators. Essential qualities include organization, self-motivation, creative and quick thinking, and the ability to approach unique problems innovatively. Agility in accommodating shifting budgets, timelines, and client needs is a must, as is a team-oriented, solution-focused mindset. Experience in the luxury sector with a deep understanding of project intricacies is required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience as a lead Producer / Senior Producer in experiential production.
  • Experience in a client-facing and production role within an agency environment.
  • Proven track record developing and managing large, complex projects/teams.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels within the organization, clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Experience developing and managing seven-figure budgets.
  • Fluent in Google Suite and Excel.
  • A positive team player and leader who fosters collaboration and has a solution-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with Asana is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience managing multiple luxury clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledgeable in fabrication, technical production, permitting, catering, and staffing.
  • Proactive, thoughtful, and strategic thinker.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and executing multi-channel projects including IRL experiential events for brands in the fashion, beauty, spirits, and lifestyle sectors.
  • Developing detailed plans of action, overseeing their completion, and ensuring smooth project progression through all phases.
  • Working cross-functionally to identify and manage deliverables and deadlines, ensuring project goals and client expectations are met.
  • Managing production team members, including delegating responsibilities and setting deadlines.
  • Translating creative ideas into project plans, vendor timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensuring integrated event solutions are innovative, strategically relevant, build brand equity, and deliver client results.
  • Overseeing the creation and maintenance of critical project tracking and documentation.
  • Developing and managing large budgets, reconciling them post-event, handling vendor contract and fee negotiations, and ensuring billing and invoicing processes are met.
  • Building budget models during pitching and RFP phases.
  • Managing onsite teams to ensure seamless installation and execution.
  • Traveling to projects as needed.
  • Developing and building client relationships and managing client expectations.
  • Developing project documentation such as deliverable timelines, production schedules, and run of show, and managing them.
  • Sourcing venues and vendors and negotiating contracts.
  • Liaising with in-house Creative, Account Management, and other Production Service Departments (live video & digital) to achieve client goals.
  • Obtaining city, event, and build permits.
  • Managing client relationships regarding production issues, client needs, and expectations.
