Senior Events Manager

Cloudflare•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Events Manager for its Americas Marketing Programs & Platforms team. Based in Austin, Texas, this role owns the strategy, planning, and execution of Cloudflare’s Tier 1 events across the Americas, including events the company sponsors and events it hosts. The manager builds the annual event portfolio, prioritizes investments, manages budgets, and aligns cross-functional teams around event objectives such as brand awareness, demand generation, pipeline, or customer expansion. The position leads hosted event programs from concept and agenda design through production, registration, run-of-show, and follow-up. It also shapes Cloudflare’s presence at third-party conferences through booth experience, sponsorships, activations, speaker programming, executive briefings, and customer stories. A central part of the role is enabling Sales teams to turn events into conversations, pipeline, and revenue through account targeting, meeting-booking support, event playbooks, lead capture, routing, and follow-up. The manager owns vendor and agency relationships, budgets, timelines, contracts, risk planning, and performance reporting across multiple simultaneous events. They define and communicate event KPIs and ROI, run retrospectives, and improve future programs. Cloudflare expects the person in this role to apply an AI-native builder’s mindset, using tools to automate and improve event operations, lead processing, enablement, and reporting, and sharing resulting solutions with the team.
