About The Position

Acquia is seeking a practitioner-evangelist who bridges the gap between digital marketing and vibe coding. This role is for someone who creates compelling digital experiences and can demonstrate how Drupal and Acquia facilitate this. The position is crucial for Acquia's future, aiming to make the company relevant to audiences beyond the traditional Drupal community. The goal is to connect with digital marketers and vibe coders, earning their trust and showcasing Drupal's capabilities, thereby attracting new practitioners to the Drupal ecosystem. This is a hands-on role focused on building and demonstrating, not just talking about it. The successful candidate will create content, live demos, tutorials, and presentations to prove the value of Acquia's offerings.

Requirements

A background as a digital marketer, content creator, or vibe coder with a proven track record of doing the work.
An existing portfolio of dev rel or practitioner content (videos, tutorials, demos, talks, written guides).
An active public presence, including attending and speaking at relevant events, posting on platforms like YouTube or social media, and engaging in online communities.
Familiarity with Drupal, understanding its capabilities and being comfortable building with it in front of an audience.
Hands-on experience with tools relevant to the target audience, such as marketing automation, CMS platforms, AI-assisted coding tools, or no-code builders, with the ability to demo them fluently.
Strong on-camera and on-stage presence.
Self-directed with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of identifying opportunities, developing content plans, and executing independently.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Replit, v0, Bolt) and familiarity with the vibe coding movement.
A YouTube channel, newsletter, podcast, or social following in a relevant space with a history of consistent publishing.
Experience working at a CMS, DXP, or martech company.
Openness to learning new technologies and collaborating with AI tools.

Responsibilities

Represent Acquia and Drupal to digital marketers and vibe coders through content, social media, events, and community engagement as a practitioner.
Actively demo and build with Acquia products on camera and on stage, focusing on product demos and hands-on tutorials.
Create high-quality, practitioner-level content such as videos, demos, tutorials, live streams, and social posts targeted at non-Drupal audiences.
Engage in spaces where digital marketers and vibe coders are active, including industry events, YouTube, Reddit, Discord servers, LinkedIn, and Slack communities.
Speak at events outside the Drupal circuit, focusing on marketing, no-code, content operations, and AI-assisted development conferences and meetups.
Collaborate with the dev rel team to ensure consistent messaging and complement the Drupal-focused advocate.
Surface market insights to Product and Marketing teams regarding audience interests, tools used, and areas for Acquia improvement.
