About The Position

Global Industrial is seeking a Senior Engineer, Workday Integration Developer to develop and support integration solutions for Workday in a fast-paced environment. The role is responsible for all phases of the integration lifecycle and requires experience building and supporting HCM integrations using Workday integration technologies. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of Workday integration technologies and implementation methodology, working with internal and external resources to deliver and support integration deployments. The position is based in an office environment, with occasional field duties, and is located in Atlanta, Georgia, or Birmingham, Alabama.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience with Workday HCM integrations, such as Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting.
At least 2 years of experience with Workday integration types, including EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Studio.
At least 2 years of experience creating Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
At least 2 years of experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors.
Good understanding of Workday security.
Experience with document transformation technologies or languages such as XSLT and XPath.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external resources.
Ability to perform the position’s physical duties, including prolonged sitting and computer work, and standing and walking short distances between work sites.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience.
Prism Analytics experience.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integration solutions using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Studio.
Support existing integrations.
Help resolve integration issues requiring in-depth expertise in the Workday solution.
Work on integrations in Human Resources domains such as Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting.
Provide documentation and artifacts required for each phase of the development lifecycle.
Develop test cases and peer review other developers’ code.
Provide production support and respond to issues and incidents in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with technical best practices, standards, and policies determined by the HRIS team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
