About The Position

Legora's Engagement team is scaling fast, and we're building the management layer to match. As a Senior Engagement Team Lead, you'll own the performance of a team of Engagement Associates, Engagement Managers, and Senior Engagement Managers — setting the standard for how we onboard, adopt, retain, and expand our enterprise client relationships. This is a people leadership role for someone who has already proven they can do the work — who has owned a commercial book, driven retention and expansion, and built trusted relationships with sophisticated clients. You'll set the bar, build the systems, and coach the people who deliver Legora's premier client experience at scale.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in management consulting, client advisory, or a comparable client-facing field, with 3+ years managing client-facing teams — including other managers.
  • A track record of owning post-sales outcomes — accountable for adoption, retention, and expansion across a portfolio of complex clients.
  • A proven developer of talent at every level — from early-career Associates to Senior Managers — with clear standards and a habit of making people better.
  • Executive presence and sharp stakeholder instincts — trusted at the senior-most client levels, with the judgment to know when to step in, coach, or escalate.
  • A builder who automates — fluent with AI, you create leverage for yourself and your team by building and automating workflows, not just using them.
  • Deep data fluency — you read portfolio metrics and account health with rigor and use them to drive decisions.
  • Strong operational discipline — you build inspection frameworks and run tight rhythms that scale execution quality across a team.
  • A passion for in-office collaboration — we're in-office 5 days per week in our Union Square HQ, building together.

Responsibilities

  • Own an Enterprise vertical — firm or corporate — leading a team of Associates, Managers, and Senior Managers across multiple client portfolios, accountable for adoption, retention, and expansion at scale.
  • Support your team on the highest-stakes client moments as a strategic advisor — engaging executive sponsors, quantifying value, and ensuring Legora shows up at its best, stepping in for client conversations as needed.
  • Build the frameworks and operating rhythms that scale the team — portfolio reviews, coverage and health inspection, and coaching cadences that keep execution sharp.
  • Set the standard for how the team drives value at scale — turning what works across portfolios into repeatable, scalable engagement motions.
  • Drive the commercial outcomes for your segment — setting targets across the team's portfolios, guiding complex renewals and expansions, and feeding insight to Product, Marketing, and Legal Engineering.
  • Get ahead of risk across portfolios — reading early signals at the segment level, resolving systemic blockers, and coaching the team to protect retention before issues escalate.
  • Champion AI as a force multiplier — building and automating workflows yourself and equipping the team with tooling that compounds leverage across every account.
  • Grow and scale the team — hiring, developing, and retaining Engagement talent at every level, and raising the bar for great engagement across the function.
