We are seeking a qualified Senior Electrician to fill a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate must be a team player and have technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring. The candidate must also have a great attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve potential problems. Requirements

Technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring
Great attention to detail
Ability to identify and solve potential problems
High School diploma or equivalent
Accredited Trade school or equivalent
+5 years of relevant experience
+2 years as an intermediate electrician or equivalent
Red Seal certification
Electrical Assembly
Electrical Troubleshooting
Reading Schematic Drawings
Understanding User Manuals
Understanding of instrumentation/device wiring and motor controls
Knowledge of the applicable sections of the Canadian Electric Code Parts 1 and 2

Responsibilities

Install equipment as per the general arrangement drawings
Install conduit and cable as per electrical schematics
Wiring of various types of instrumentation and controls
Assemble and wire custom control panels
Ensure manufacturers installation instructions and all code requirements are adhered to.
Confirm wiring of components as they are completed.
Review bill of materials for accuracy and flag any errors immediately.
Redline drawings as required during assembly.
Review finished assemblies for accuracy.
Complete factory acceptance testing for equipment prior to shipping
Occasional Site work and associated travel
Input weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Other assigned duties as required.
Immediately report any accident / incident and collaborate in its investigation
Interrupt work when conditions are unsafe, create safe work environment when possible and report to upper management
Maintain orderly and clean work areas
Use and maintain in good condition the safety equipment, work tools and personal protective equipment for the group.
