Responsible for electrical maintenance, repair, and improvement for process and facility systems. Work includes troubleshooting, ordering, installation and maintenance of high voltage and low voltage systems. Will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the nature of the processes and the equipment connected to the electrical system. Applies his/her full knowledge of these systems in the performance of troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment. The ideal candidate is a licensed electrician with experience supporting small- to large-scale electrical, instrumentation, and control installations. The ideal candidate can work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team and is experienced with conduit, cable tray, electrical distribution, motor controls, VFDs, control panels, PLC I/O, instrumentation, electrical drawings, and troubleshooting. Candidates should have knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safe-work practices, including NFPA 70E, OSHA requirements, grounding and bonding, lockout/tagout, and arc-flash prevention. Experience leading crews, coordinating contractors, documenting installations, and working in industrial or regulated facilities is preferred.
