Requirements
- Active Journeyman Electrician License or can renew license by date of employment
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting as an electrician
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and blueprints
- Experience with electrical diagnostic tools (VOM, Megger, etc.)
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills and ability to work independently
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Nice To Haves
- In-depth knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens controls and applications
- Active Master Electrician License with industrial and/or commercial experience
Responsibilities
- Champion a safety-first mindset, ensuring a hazard free work environment
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and plant infrastructure per local and National Electric Codes
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical components of CNC machining centers and other industrial equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Read schematics and blueprints, estimating materials and parts for projects
- Maintain accurate documentation of labor hours, work orders, and equipment status
- Take initiative to identify, document, and correct problems related to equipment discrepancies and recommend solutions
- Coordinate and prioritize work to meet customer needs
- Work cross-functionally to support production teams and meet operational goals and KPIs
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements
- Execute daily work assignments directed by the Production Manager
- Work with limited supervision
- Perform other assigned duties
