The Senior Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all field activities, including organization, management, and execution of work, as well as leading, motivating, and overseeing all aspects of the planning, implementation, and completion of electrical projects. This role requires ensuring the Short Interval Construction schedule is utilized for cost control, establishing good relationships with general contractors, and providing technical assistance. The position involves assisting Project Managers with project procedures, ensuring on-site personnel compliance, documenting violations, and maintaining familiarity with project plans, specifications, scope, and contracts. The Senior Project Superintendent will attend scheduling and coordination meetings, monitor job progress, direct solutions for budget adherence, support superintendents, and assist field leaders in maximizing work quality and quantity. Tracking materials, ensuring job site housekeeping, monitoring discipline construction productivity, applying knowledge of National Electrical Codes, assisting with electrical system installation, troubleshooting, and repair, and ensuring installations meet quality and code standards are also key responsibilities. The role involves resolving matters related to work procedures, complaints, damages, accidents, and delays, conferring with other leaders to resolve problems, and ensuring all company safety measures are followed. Participation in safety/incident investigations, contract reviews, project turnover, startup, percent complete meetings, and closeout package preparation are also part of the role. This position directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities including training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints.
