About The Position

This position supports project needs onsite at the Duane Arnold Energy Center. It starts as a remote position and could change to a hybrid arrangement with three days a week in the office and two days working remotely. The role uses and develops drafting skills in a multidisciplinary team, preparing design drawings from design input. It includes creating scaled drawings that show proposed installations in relation to existing facilities and provide exact specifications and dimensions. The designer may accompany experienced designers on client-facility walkdowns to gather project information and may explain drawings to vendors and construction contractors so appropriate design adjustments can be made.
