About The Position

As a Senior Electrical Engineer on the multidisciplinary IntraSight Hardware Team, you will contribute to innovative imaging clinical solutions. You will serve as the key technical interface between Philips and external suppliers, design partners, and contract manufacturers for PCBA development, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective electronic designs that meet performance, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The role provides technical leadership for PCBA design, development, prototyping, and industrialization. It involves aligning electrical requirements, schematics, PCB layout, architecture, acceptance criteria, timelines, cost, and quality; leading supplier selection and technical evaluations; and reviewing and approving design documentation. You will drive DFM, DFT, and DFC strategies, manage component selection and lifecycle risks, and oversee PCBA verification and validation, including functional, signal integrity, power integrity, electrical safety, and EMC testing. You will partner with quality and regulatory teams to ensure supplier quality systems, documentation, and regulatory expectations are met. You will lead root cause analysis and resolution of electrical and PCBA issues through development and sustaining, including manufacturing defects and field returns. The role collaborates with systems, mechanical, software, quality, regulatory, and procurement teams. This is an office role. Office-based teams work in person at least three days per week; candidates must reside in or within commuting distance of San Diego, California.
