About The Position

Goodstart Bentleigh East – South Road is seeking a Diploma-qualified Educational Leader for its welcoming 60-place early learning centre. This full-time, 14-month fixed-term position covers a period of leave. The Educational Leader works with educators and the centre leadership team to observe, review and continuously improve educational programs, strengthen understanding of child development and early years content, and guide implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework. The role champions high-quality educational practice and supports positive outcomes for children and families. The position follows a rotating roster between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., in line with centre operating hours. Requirements

Diploma in Early Childhood or an ACECQA-approved equivalent.
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
Current Victorian Working with Children Check.

A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education), Diploma qualification, or ACECQA-approved equivalent is welcomed for consideration across suitable opportunities.

Responsibilities

Drive and support high-quality educational practices across the centre.
Mentor and coach educators to strengthen curriculum planning and implementation.
Lead reflective practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure programs align with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
Foster strong partnerships with children, families and the local community.
Work collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Observe and review educational programs and support their ongoing improvement.
