About The Position

The Senior Education Administrator - Radiology will supervise all divisional education administrators within the department, providing leadership and support to ensure effective coordination and cross-training among staff. This role will assist in managing the daily operations of the office, overseeing activities related to both medical student and resident education programs.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Three (3) years of administrative support experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee program administration, including supervision of divisional education administrators and coordination of workflow to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the student clerkship director and faculty to manage M3 and M4 student activities such as clinical rotations, orientation for new surgery service students, lectures, grading, and exams.
  • Partner with residency program directors and divisional faculty to coordinate lectureships, resident interviews, testing, surgical case tracking to ensure residents meet case requirements, and preparation of on-call schedules.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation is maintained to comply with Graduate Medical Education office, Residency Review Committee (RRC), and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements.
