This role supports changes and releases of documentation for Manufacturing Engineers, including drawings, bills of material, wire run lists, and work instructions. The specialist will examine documents for completeness and accuracy within the change order process, confer with originators to resolve discrepancies, and recommend process improvements. A key part of the role involves maintaining and entering data into various company systems such as Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The position also includes posting document changes, releasing documents, and notifying relevant parties of approvals. Archiving control records and preparing hard and soft copies of documentation are also responsibilities. The role may involve developing work instructions, supporting collaborative build processes, removing obsolete printed instructions, and preparing system reports. Additionally, the specialist will create various documents, provide guidance to junior associates, and perform other duties as required by the Manufacturing Engineering department.
