Senior Director, Systems Engineering Solutions
About The Position
Peraton is hiring a Senior Director, Systems Engineering to support its Defense Sector. The role leads and supports the development and execution of integrated solution packages aligned with the organization’s three Defense pillars, with an emphasis on strategic alignment, technical excellence, and mission-focused outcomes. The Senior Director works closely with Sector Leadership to help drive growth and innovation, tying technology to the sector’s overall strategy and future growth. The position reports directly to the Sector CTO. The role is responsible for developing compliant, differentiating, compelling, and executable solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements. Solutions are developed under the direction of the Lead Solution Architect (LSA), who leads the Solution Team using the Solution Development Methodology, directs engineering efforts to develop solution artifacts, and articulates strengths and discriminators consistent with the win strategy and evaluation criteria. The Senior Director also develops core solution packages that can be customized, tailored, and differentiated for specific captures, and supports corporate and cross-sector CTO activities.
Requirements
- 18+ years of experience; management experience may be included.
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Experience or understanding of the Defense/DOW industry.
- Experience working within Digital Transformation.
- Top Secret or higher clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of core solution packages that can be customized, tailored, and differentiated for specific captures.
- Develop processes that provide visibility into and prioritization of efforts and tasks across the CTO group.
- Lead activities to answer corporate CTO tasks and support activities.
- Lead cross-sector CTO collaboration and information sharing.
- Support development of compliant, differentiating, compelling, and executable solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Articulate solutions in proposal responses, emphasizing scoring to win based on proposal evaluation criteria.
