About The Position

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is seeking a senior leader to help guide its business evolution, identify future growth opportunities, and build the organizational capabilities needed to make, activate, and adapt strategic decisions continuously. Working within the Business Strategy team and alongside senior leaders across PlayStation, this role will establish frameworks, decision mechanisms, and leadership practices that connect long-range strategy to organizational alignment, experimentation, and measurable business outcomes. The Senior Director will translate PlayStation’s strategic direction into actionable enterprise priorities, help operationalize strategic shifts, and partner with functional executives to define choices, commitments, and outcomes. The role will develop a year-round strategy operating rhythm that links three-to-five-year ambitions with annual priorities, quarterly reviews, and ongoing opportunity assessment. It will also help leadership anticipate market and technology changes, evaluate portfolios, revisit investment assumptions, and adapt priorities based on evidence. As a trusted partner to senior leaders, the role will facilitate complex strategic discussions, influence decisions without relying on formal authority, and support coordinated action across business units. It will develop differentiated approaches for optimizing the core business and exploring future opportunities, including portfolio investment frameworks and criteria for advancing, redirecting, or discontinuing initiatives. The role will strengthen strategy execution through practical tools, leadership commitments, decision rights, progress measures, and AI-enabled research and analysis capabilities.
