About The Position

The Senior Director, Strategy and Growth provides dedicated enterprise ownership for complex and strategic planning, emerging revenue opportunities, new business initiatives, and market and business analytics. The role is accountable for improving the financial performance and growth trajectory of assigned revenue lines, including Workers’ Compensation, motor vehicle accident (MVA), VIP/cash-pay, and other adjacent revenue programs. The Senior Director establishes a disciplined process to evaluate, prioritize, pilot, and scale new products and services while operating through a matrixed model with Contracting, Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, Operations, Product, Finance, and other functional teams. Success requires strong P&L orientation, analytical rigor, executive communication, and the ability to drive accountability and execution without duplicating existing operational functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, consulting, growth, corporate development, product development, analytics, or healthcare operations, including leadership of cross-functional initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Revenue and contribution-margin performance of assigned complex and emerging revenue lines
  • Growth against approved business cases and program targets
  • Speed and quality of opportunity assessment and go/no-go decisions
  • Performance of pilots against defined financial, operational, and customer metrics
  • Quality, adoption, and timeliness of market and business analytics delivered as a shared service
  • Strategic planning milestones and execution tracking completed on time

  • Support additional enterprise strategic initiatives and growth opportunities as assigned, including evaluation of partnerships, market expansion opportunities, and initiatives that enable MSO development.
  • Own P&L performance, growth strategy, and execution plans for assigned complex and emerging revenue lines, initially including Workers’ Compensation, MVA, VIP/cash-pay programs, and other targeted adjacent revenue opportunities.
  • Develop revenue, margin, volume, access, and operational performance targets for assigned programs; monitor results, identify barriers, and coordinate corrective action with accountable functional leaders.
  • Lead the market and business analytics shared service, providing decision support, business intelligence, market analysis, and opportunity assessment across the organization.
  • Establish and manage a consistent process for evaluating, prioritizing, and piloting new products and services, including market validation, financial modeling, resource requirements, risk assessment, and go/no-go recommendations.
  • Develop business cases and pilot charters with clear objectives, success measures, investment requirements, decision points, and plans to scale, modify, or exit initiatives based on demonstrated performance.
  • Lead and support enterprise strategic planning, including annual and long-range planning, strategic initiative development, performance tracking, and preparation of executive- and Board-level materials.
  • Operate through a matrixed model with Contracting, Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, Operations, Product, Finance, Marketing, and other teams, clarifying decision rights and accountabilities while leveraging existing functional capabilities.
  • Create cross-functional workplans, governance routines, and performance reporting for assigned initiatives; proactively escalate risks, dependencies, and decisions requiring executive action.
  • Build scalable playbooks, analytics, and management routines that allow proven revenue programs and products to transition to dedicated operating leadership as they mature.
