About The Position

As a key member of the Travel Portland Convention Sales leadership team, the Senior Director of Convention Sales plays a critical role in ensuring that Travel Portland's Convention Sales Team meets or exceeds its annual performance goals. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Convention Strategy, this position manages the National Account Managers. The Senior Director of Convention Sales provides strategic leadership, mentorship, and support to direct reports while fostering strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, hotel partners, and industry clients. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, people-focused leader, and results-oriented strategist with a deep understanding of the meetings and conventions industry.
