About The Position

We are adding another Senior Clinical Director to the management team! Our Sr. Director of Clinical Services is responsible for assuring that Innovive Health clinicians provide high quality care and continually drives improved patient outcomes. This position is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of clinical standards and preferred practice protocols which promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related work experience
  • Licensed RN through the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing
  • 5+ years’ of clinically related experience in health care setting
  • 5+ years’ management experience in a home health or related organization
  • Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Organization requirements and is in good working order

Responsibilities

  • Responsible and accountable for clinical efficiencies and quality healthcare outcomes through effective leadership and management of department staff; consults with and advises management to ensure that department goals and performance measures are met.
  • Directs implementation of approved work methods, patient care models and procedures that ensure best in class patient care; proactively reviews effectiveness of process and procedures and modifies as needed.
  • Partners with Clinical Executive team to maintain the agency in a state of survey readiness at all times; ensures the agency and all programs comply with state, local and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Creates and reviews key benchmark reports with team members; sets clear expectations on performance, quality, and compliance; provides training/resources necessary to achieve expectations.
  • Interprets operational indicators to detect census changes including increases or decreases in volume which could impact staffing levels, revenues, or expenses.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with providers, vendors, community resources, and Accountable Care Organizations (ACO’s) to ensure continuity of care and future strategic growth of the organization.
  • Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care and effectively communicates information with appropriate agency personnel.
  • Monitors and evaluates employee performance; holds employees accountable for the attainment of defined goals and objectives; executes effective performance redirection when needed; develops employees through coaching, mentoring and formal/on the job training and development opportunities.
  • Participates in state and local organizations, meetings, seminars, workshops, and activities relating to the health profession and health care services when appropriate.
  • May be required to provide direct patient care, on call and/or manage a caseload as well as complete admissions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
