About The Position

We're seeking a Senior Director, Brand & Growth Marketing to steward and evolve the identity of our brand portfolio while driving measurable consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention across all channels, positioning each brand distinctly while leveraging the strength of our collective market presence. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy and performance marketing, owning the creative vision and campaign execution that brings our brands to life for consumers, from first impression through repeat purchase. Leading a team of marketers in close partnership with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Business Development, this leader ensures marketing investment is both emotionally resonant and commercially accountable. The ideal candidate is a seasoned consumer marketing leader who understands the unique challenge of modernizing and growing a multi-brand portfolio in a digitally-driven retail environment. This hybrid position is based in our Corporate Headquarters in Glen Allen, VA and reports to the Senior VP, Strategy, Marketing, and Global Commercial.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role managing a multi-brand portfolio at a consumer goods, CPG, or durable goods company.
  • Demonstrated success managing both brand marketing and performance/growth marketing functions across multiple brands or consumer segments simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of the modern consumer retail landscape - brick-and-mortar, e-commerce marketplaces, and DTC - with experience tailoring strategy to individual brands within a portfolio.
  • Experience with digital performance channels including paid social and search, with working knowledge of how brand investment connects to retail media outcomes.
  • Strong command of marketing analytics and attribution modeling, connecting brand investment to business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and agency partners in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar marketing budgets with a track record of efficient allocation and measurable ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the integrated brand and growth marketing strategy across our full brand portfolio, ensuring each brand has a distinct positioning, voice, and visual identity while maintaining cohesion at the corporate level.
  • Lead full-funnel campaign development - from awareness and consideration through conversion and loyalty - across paid, owned, and earned channels including digital, social, and email.
  • Partner with internal e-commerce and sales teams to align portfolio-level brand investment with retail partner priorities, ensuring consistent brand identity and messaging both at shelf and online.
  • Establish a performance measurement framework tracking brand health and growth metrics at both the brand and portfolio level, reporting regularly to the Executive Committee.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of content creators and marketers, fostering a culture of creativity, experimentation, and accountability.
  • Manage the brand and growth marketing budget across the portfolio, balancing investment across the marketing funnel.
