About The Position

Zen Educate is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist (Growth) to own and scale their paid lead generation engine in the U.S. This role is crucial for the company's mission to empower schools and teachers, contributing to a 3x year-over-year growth. The specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing paid campaigns, analyzing data to drive decisions, identifying new growth opportunities, and collaborating with various teams. The position offers significant ownership, visibility with senior leadership, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the education sector.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or campaign management.
  • Comfortable with data analysis and trusting instincts.
  • Ability to move fast, prioritize effectively, and take ownership without prompting.
  • Clear communication skills for interacting with teammates, leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and a proactive approach to testing and improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or job board platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, SQL, or data visualization tools.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own paid campaigns & performance
  • Plan, execute, and continuously optimise paid lead generation campaigns, primarily job boards, with expanding scope into Google Ads and Meta.
  • Develop expertise in job board advertising, balancing analytical rigor with instinct.
  • Test creatives, targeting, and strategies constantly to identify and scale successful approaches.
  • Turn data into decisions by digging into campaign data to derive actionable insights.
  • Run structured A/B tests to improve conversion rates and reduce acquisition costs.
  • Use good judgment to fill gaps when data is insufficient.
  • Spot new growth opportunities before they are obvious, including new channels, tactics, and angles.
  • Feed into budget planning, forecasting, and broader marketing strategy.
  • Keep a close eye on competitor and industry activities.
  • Partner with Operations, Sales, and Product teams to ensure campaign alignment with business needs.
  • Share clear, honest performance updates with senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with other analysts on the team, sharing learnings and collectively raising performance standards.
