About The Position

Flywire is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to own and evolve our global digital marketing strategy and help shape how customers discover, understand and engage with Flywire across digital channels. This role will ensure Flywire shows up wherever conversations are happening, focusing on digital acquisition, search, AI-driven discovery, website performance, and conversion across Flywire’s global verticals (Education, Travel, B2B & Healthcare). The ideal candidate will combine strong digital marketing fundamentals with experience in emerging technologies like AI, LLMs, AEO, and GEO. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring strategy setting, hands-on execution, and cross-team collaboration to drive measurable results.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, performance marketing, or a related field.
  • Deep experience across SEO, SEM, web optimization, and digital acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of how AI and LLMs are changing search, content discovery, and buyer behavior.
  • Experience with and strong working knowledge of AEO, GEO, and optimization for generative search experiences.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve marketing workflows, analysis, content, or campaign performance.
  • Strong understanding of website conversion, landing-page optimization, experimentation, and digital customer journeys.
  • Experience managing and optimizing paid media programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working across web analytics, search data, funnel metrics, and revenue performance.
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong ownership mentality and the ability to move from strategy into execution.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to experiment, learn quickly, and challenge traditional approaches.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who can influence stakeholders and move work forward without direct authority.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where the playbook is still being written.

Responsibilities

  • Own Flywire’s global digital marketing strategy across organic search, paid search, AI-driven discovery, web, and other digital acquisition channels.
  • Evolve Flywire’s SEO strategy while building our approach to Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
  • Develop strategies to improve how Flywire and its content are surfaced, cited, and represented across LLMs and AI-powered search experiences.
  • Monitor changes in search behavior, AI platforms, and digital discovery, translating shifts into actionable marketing programs.
  • Identify new channels and opportunities to increase awareness, engagement, and qualified demand.
  • Own the performance of Flywire’s website(s) as a critical acquisition and conversion channel.
  • Partner with content, product marketing, and demand generation teams to create high-performing digital experiences.
  • Improve conversion through testing, personalization, audience segmentation, and journey optimization.
  • Use behavioral and performance data to identify friction and improve prospect journeys from discovery to engagement.
  • Ensure the digital experience reflects how modern B2B buyers research and evaluate Flywire.
  • Identify practical ways to use AI to improve digital marketing performance, productivity, and speed.
  • Test and operationalize AI tools across search, content optimization, audience research, campaign development, personalization, and analytics.
  • Build repeatable AI-enabled workflows to help Marketing scale while maintaining quality and brand standards.
  • Help teams understand how AI is changing buyer behavior and its implications for content creation, structuring, and distribution.
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI, LLM, and marketing technologies, determining what is worth testing, adopting, or ignoring.
  • Partner with demand generation teams to optimize paid search, paid social, retargeting, and other digital programs.
  • Improve campaign performance through audience strategy, testing, landing-page optimization, and disciplined measurement.
  • Connect digital activity to pipeline, revenue, and commercial outcomes.
  • Use performance data to recommend investment, optimization, or pullback strategies.
  • Build a cohesive measurement framework across SEO, AEO/GEO, paid media, web, conversion, and AI discovery.
  • Track how Flywire’s brand and content perform across traditional search engines and emerging AI platforms.
  • Develop clear reporting that connects digital performance to business outcomes.
  • Use experimentation, attribution, and funnel analysis to understand what is working and where improvements can be made.
  • Turn data into clear recommendations and actions for Marketing leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Work closely with marketing, product marketing, commercial, and GTM teams.
  • Bring digital expertise into major campaigns, product launches, and go-to-market programs.
  • Help teams think differently about content structure and distribution for both human audiences and AI-driven discovery.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on emerging digital trends and translate them into practical actions for the business.

Benefits

  • US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$135,000 and benefits.
