About The Position

Closed Loop is a digital advertising agency that helps companies maximize performance and achieve exceptional results through integrated paid media campaigns. The Senior Digital Advertising Manager-Search role is accountable for overall Paid Search performance and long-term channel growth on 1-2 complex client accounts. This role requires combining deep platform expertise with strategic foresight, owning budgets, pacing, reporting, and quality assurance. The mission is to foster strong client relationships, bring forward market insights, and tell a clear, compelling Paid Search story with data to drive impactful results and position clients for continued success. The role acts as a trusted advisor to clients and a strategic leader within the team, ensuring excellence in execution and innovation in approach. This is a fully remote (U.S. only) position.

Requirements

  • 7 or more years of experience designing and managing paid advertising campaigns to specific ROI goals.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple advertising platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads are essential, Meta, LinkedIn, and others a plus).
  • Experience managing ALL facets of digital advertising campaigns.
  • Experience making effective pitches/presentations to key decision makers.
  • Experience leading meetings and proactively managing client/stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience with data analysis, visualization and presentation.
  • Experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications.

  • B2B experience and/or agency experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Paid Search program for 1-2 complex clients as a highly integrated member of a client team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of assigned clients’ businesses and what matters most to them.
  • Build, launch, and meticulously optimize clients’ digital advertising accounts.
  • Proactively monitor account performance, identify opportunities for optimization and growth, and implement changes.
  • Analyze account data, compile reports, and produce data visualizations.
  • Forecast budgets and outcomes.
  • Identify advanced advertising strategies that will keep clients ahead of the competition and sell those strategies to clients.
  • Be accountable for client budgeting, pacing, and accuracy. Manage budget allocation and pacing across channels and initiatives to ensure budget and performance expectations are met.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide communications for assigned ad channels. Manage client expectations via clear, concise, strategic communications.
  • Research and keep abreast of trends in digital advertising.
  • Mentor ad coordinators as needed.
  • Be a well-integrated member of the team. Participate in team meetings, be active on Slack, etc.
  • Participate in (or lead) audits of ad accounts for client prospects and complete peer reviews of current client accounts.
  • Ensure that the procedures in Closed Loop’s Information Security Policy are personally followed and that all company and client data personally accessed is properly secured.
