The Digital Health Sr. Advisor is a member of the HIMSS Digital Health Advisory community responsible for driving the global health ecosystem forward by supporting healthcare providers’ digital health transformation journeys through the adoption of HIMSS digital health solutions. They are responsible for leading new single health system maturity model validations, conducting gap assessment reviews, developing customized findings and recommendations for digital health transformation based upon assessment results, and identifying the achievement of measurable outcomes within a single health system. They will contribute to customer Request for Information (RFI) response materials, provide advisory services for Premier level Digital Health Technology Partners, and communicate new product requirements through established Product Management processes. The Sr. Digital Health Advisor will actively contribute to thought leadership resources including the regular creation of case studies highlighting client outcomes, and leading community knowledge share and education while providing mentorship to Advisor, Sr. Specialist, and Specialist roles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 12-16 years of experience in a healthcare related field.
• 5-8 years of experience leading and developing a team, including setting standards for work output.
• HIMSS Digital Health Transformation Specialist certification.
• Strong decision-making, analytical, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with strong personal integrity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office product suite.

Nice To Haves

• Masters or Doctoral degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engagement level financial accountability, including schedule and revenue recognition responsibility.
• Lead single health system Stage 6 and 7 maturity model validations and coordinate the development of associated case studies through the Marketing team.
• Conduct gap assessments and develop customized findings and recommendations reports to support digital health transformation advisory services.
• Identify and quantify the achievement of measurable outcomes within a single health system and collaborate with the Marketing team to develop associated case studies.
• Lead advisory (market intelligence and guidance, product and service alignment to HIMSS maturity models, etc.) and custom education services for Premier tier Digital Health Technology Partners.
• Deliver client facing education sessions to providers and market suppliers utilizing standard training materials.
• Actively drive the maturity model tools product plan through collaboration with Product Management.
• Contribute to customer request for information (RFI) models and templates in collaboration with the Product Management team.
• Contribute to the thought leadership resources including contributions to the market intelligence portfolio, the creation of quarterly case studies highlighting client outcomes, and leading conference events and presentations.
• Interprets internal or external business issues and recommend solutions/best practices, using automated tools and solutions.
• Leads components of projects that may be complex in nature or requires coordination across the team or other departments.
