About The Position

Whether supporting commercialization of cutting-edge biomedical innovation or bringing innovations to market, our clients need a team member who can help advise clients on comprehensive commercialization strategies. That is why we need you, an experienced Health Commercialization Advisor who can analyze every aspect of our customer's commercialization and provide high-quality support. As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical advisor to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. Leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. Maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies. You'll serve as a Health Commercialization Advisor helping clients to understand issues related to commercialization of new health technologies. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, commercialization or investment strategy
  • 5+ years of experience working within a healthcare or technology startup
  • Experience with intellectual property (IP) and licensing strategies
  • Experience in user-centered product development, engagement, and the transition of healthcare solutions
  • Experience working with venture capital, corporate VCs, and angel investors
  • Experience in IP
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations
  • Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Build the Collegium network and manage ongoing operation of the Collegium, including developing strategies for engagement of members.
  • Build and manage a network of strategic relationships with the broader investment community including Venture Capitalists (VCs), Corporate VCs, and Angel Capitalists to create syndicates of investors to guide Program Managers and their Performers.
  • Build and manage a network of strategic relationships with intellectual property (IP), regulatory and reimbursement experts that align with the client’s portfolio.
  • Re-start and assist with managing the client’s Initiatives.
  • Supporting the management of the client hub locations.
